Carpets are the thin blocks. You can use these thin carpets for decoration purposes. They are useful if you want a carpeted floor
To make a Purple Carpet, you will need Sheep Wool, Poppy, Red Tulip or Rose Bush, Lapis Lazuli, Rose Red Dye, Purple Dye and Purple wool. Please follow the following steps to make a Purple Carpet.
Sheep Wool
In order to make Purple Carpet you will need to find at least two wools, which you will get from a sheep. Go and find sheep and don’t kill, just use shears to get the wool out of sheep. You can get two wool blocks from one sheep normally.
Poppy or Red Tulip
After that you will need a poppy or red tulip flower. You need to get at least one Poppy or Red Tulip flower so that you can use it to craft purple carpet.
Lapis Lazuli
The next thing you need is lapis lazuli gemstone. You may find 4 stones from crushing one lapis lazuli block. We can use this stone to give a color to the carpet we are going to craft.
Rose Red Dye
To make rose red dye you need to approach the crafting table. Open up the 3*3 crafting grid and add a poppy or red tulip at the center. You will get rose red dye in the right side box to the crafting table. Add this item into your inventory.
Purple Dye
Now you need to make purple dye by adding rose red dye and lapis lazuli gemstone into the crafting table as shown in the below image, where you will add lapis lazuli at the top cell of the second column and rose red dye in the middle cell of the same column. You will get purple dye in the right side box to the crafting area. Add this item into your “ready to use” stock.
Purple Wool
And now you have to make 2 purple wools, add two wools and two purple dyes on the crafting grid. Add 2 wools in the middle cell of the second column and 2 dyes in the middle cell of the third column to get 2 purple wool in the right side box to the crafting table. Add these wools into your inventory.
Purple Carpet
Now finally you can craft the purple carpet. Open up the crafting table one more time and add wools in the first two cells of the third row as shown in image below. You will get 3 purple carpets in the right side box of the crafting table. Add these carpets in your “ready to use” stock.
