This guide will let you know how to play Left 4 Dead 2 multiplayer offline on LAN PC. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to do so.
Before starting the game, make sure you and your friends are on the same network connection, such as LAN or mobile hotspot.
1. You will need to ensure that the developer console is enabled; click “options > keyboard/mouse.”
2. Press the ~ button on your keyboard.
3. After that, you have to type the following command step by step:
Sv_lan 1
Sv_ allow_lobby_connect_only 0
Z_difficulty Normal
Map [select_map]
*you can change the difficulty to easy, advanced, or expert.
Choose what you want.
Now, your lobby will appear in your friend’s left 4 dead menus.
