This guide will show you how to Play PC Games on your Nintendo Switch.
Requirements
1- First, Download the Moonlight-NX tool, which will allow you to Stream pc games to your Nintendo switch. For this, you will need a computer with the Nvidia GPU, as this uses the Nvidia game stream services.
2- The second thing you’ll need is a switch running atmosphere custom firmware.
3- The third thing you’ll need is a stable internet connection. You will only get good results if your connection is stable.
Installing Moonlight
1- First, click on the following link https://github.com/rock88/moonlight-n… as it will take you to the GitHub page where you can download the Moonlight-NX tool. Once you reach this site, scroll down and come under the keyboard tab, giving you the key combination you can use on Switch. So take a screenshot of this page.
2- After taking the screenshot, go up and click on the Releases tab on the right side of the screen. Then it will take you to the download page; go under Assets and select the zip file.
3- Once the download completes, plug in your SD card and open the switch folder. Then drag the moon lite file into the switch folder. Now you can eject your sd card, put it back into your switch and boot up the atmosphere.
Download NVidia Drivers
1- To download NVidia drivers, you must click on the link: https://www.nvidia.com/download/index... After reaching this page, select your product type and your product series. At last, you need to select your operating system and click on Search.
2- After clicking on Search, it will take you to a new page, and click on the Download button. Once the download completes, you must extract this by clicking on the extract here button and installing it. Once the installation finishes, restart your PC.
3- Once your PC is on, open up the NVidia GeForce Experience; if you don’t have an account, sign up. You need to click on the Sign button if you have an account. Once you are Signed in, click on the three dots under your username. Then select Scan for games and apps from the drop-down menu, which will add supported games to the software.
4- After that, click on the Settings button and select the shield option from the left side of the screen. Make sure that the game stream is turned ON. Then click on the Add button to add different games here.
Nintendo Switch
1- After setting the NVidia, go to your switch and make sure that the switch is connected to the same network your PC is connected to. Now open up the homebrew menu by launching a game and holding the R button, then navigate to moonlight and press the A button to open moonlight. You’ll see find host, add host, and some other options from the top right side of the screen, click on the settings button.
2- On this page, set your resolution and also your FPS. Then come back and then click on Add host. You must enter your PC’s IP address on the next page. For this, go back to your PC and open the command prompt by searching cmd on the windows search column in the bottom right side of the screen.
Once the command prompt is open, you must write ipconfig and press enter. In front of the IPV4 address, you will get your PC’s Ip copy of that Ip.
3- Afterwards, go back to Switch and enter your PC’s IP address. Now, your PC is linked to the Switch. Select the PC Icon and then press the A button, which will pop up the list of games in front of you. From here, you can select the game you want to play.
