How to Setup an Emulator For A Console (Nestopia)

    Download Nestopia

    In this step first, you have to go to this link: https://www.emulator-zone.com/nes/nes…, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will find your download link. Click on nestopia ue 1.49 and then click on Save. After downloading, you have to open the folder, drag that file to your desktop and extract it. After extraction, you need to open the file named “nestopia” which is the actual emulator.

    After that, you will notice that the Box is pretty small. So to fix it, you have to click on View on the top, go to screen size, and set it to the max.

    Setup Video

    You have to head to the Option on the top and navigate to the Video options. Set the mod to 1920×1080, and set the filter to XBR, it will make your game look smooth. You have to make sure that 32bit is selected and the memory pool is set to Video. Set the Palette should and then click on OK.

    Setup Controller

    You have to go to the option on the top and navigate to the Input options. For this, you can use an Xbox controller or a PS controller, or even a wired controller but just you have to make sure that you already have a connection with the PC before opening this emulator, as the emulator will automatically detect the controller and you will not need to set this up. You have to make sure that the keys in the key column are the same as in the mapping column and you can use a d-pad for this.
