“How to Survive” is a survival horror game in which the players will need to play as one of three different characters. Each character comes with its own unique skill tree. The islands are filled with flora and fauna found in the real world as well as monstrosities that will make you want to turn your monitor off.
Where is the save game folder in How to Survive?
There are two locations of the “How to Survive” save file. The first location is for Steam users and the second one is for 3DM.
- You have to go to Program Files (x86) inside the C drive and navigate to Steam. Then you have to go to “userdata” and you will find your STEAM USER ID NUMBER.
Steam – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\STEAM USER ID NUMBER\250400
- To find the save file, you will need to go to ProgramData inside the C drive and then navigate to Steam -> 3DMGAME -> 250400.
3DM – C:\ProgramData\Steam\3DMGAME\250400
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
