You have to boot up your game and then go to the main menu of the game. You will find an option “Convert Data”, it will bring you to the Convert Data page. For this, you don’t need PlayStation Plus to convert data from PS4 to PS5. On the Convert Data page, you have to click on Convert.
It will start uploading data to the server. You have to make sure that you don’t shut down the PS4 and PS5. Once the transfer of data completes, you need to go to your PS5 and then load up your game. Once the game is turned on, you have to click on the Convert button at the bottom of your screen and it will bring you to the Convert Data page. Tap on the Convert button and the download data menu will pop up. You have to click on Download.
Once the download completes, your game will start from that stage where you have left it on PS4. But in case you get any errors, then you have to make sure that your PS4 and PS5 game version both are updated. Also, make sure that your game on PS4 and On PS5 are both on the same account.
