First of all, you have to make sure that your monitor supports 1440p, then you will be able to turn it on; otherwise, it will not work. To turn it on, you have to open your home screen and then go to settings on the top right of your screen. After that, scroll down the screen and video. Then you have to select the video and then under resolution, select the test 1440P output.

A message will appear on your screen which explains to you that a test of 1440P will run if your monitor supports this. Then you will be tested for 60Hz SDR and 60Hz HDR and in case your HDMI device doesn’t support this, then your screen will go black and will return to previous settings in 15 seconds. You have to click on Ok.

If your HDMI device supports this, then again a message will appear saying you have to press yes in 15 seconds so as not to go back to previous settings. This test id for 60Hz SDR and after pressing yes, your device will be tested for 60HZ. If your HDMI device supports this, then again a message will appear saying you have to press yes in 15 seconds so as not to go back to previous settings. You need to press yes.

After pressing yes, a new message will appear on your screen saying that your HDMI device supports the 60HZ SDR and 60Hz HDR settings. Now you simply need to press Ok, then go to the resolution and set your resolution to 1440P.
