You can easily buy the tools when you unlock crafting, but you need to unlock them from the main storyline. So it would help if you kept progressing until you got to the lake bar area. When you get there, you need to keep going in the main stories until you get the quest in which you have to talk with the dwarf, and he will give you the book, as shown in the image below.
Now you need to right-click on the book and read the book, which will unlock more quests. After that, press the B key from the keyboard, switching between fighting stance and crafting stance. In preparing a crafting stance, you will have skills like hunting, mining, fishing, etc.
When you have all of them, you can also equip the crafting tools. You need to press the E key or right-click on it for mining. When you interact with anything, you need to click on it, but you need to have skills in your skill bar for a few things. If you are hunting, you need to make sure that you have the throw skill, and you have to throw the weapon and kill the animal through which you can get the hunting skill, as shown in the image below.
