In Dota 2, you can use chat wheels to communicate with your allies more easily. For this, you have to go to the main menu and click on the gear icon on the top left of your screen. You will find the Chat Wheel under the Hotkeys setting settings, you have to make sure that it is enabled.
The Keybind you have will be a spacebar button but you can change this to any key you want. Now to assign messages click on the customize chat wheels button below. There are 8 directions that you can use. Each message will be sent to your allies once you press the chat wheel hot key and drag your mouse to whichever of the 8 directions you want. You can change the other message from the same window.
