How to Use Crossbow in the Witcher 3

In this guide, you will come to know how to use Crossbow in The Witcher 3. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to use it.

The crossbow has two types of attachment called the bolts. Bolts are effective if used in the right spot; they don’t give a lot of damage but are very useful because they neutralize enemies and keep them away from a range. You can’t upgrade your crossbow as you go on and move up at levels. The key thing is that you need to move up in levels as these split bolts are not going to be able to be used until you get to level 14.

To call up the crossbow, the first thing you have to do is get your controller and hold down 1 button, and that will call up a screen and move around in circles, and then you need to take this and push it down, and you will see a crossbow option. So now you want to put it down to the part which indicates the crossbow, and then you can release the L1 button then fire the crossbow.

After choosing the crossbow, you need to press the R-1 button to fire. Now, if you hold the R1 button-down, you can set your aim, or you can tap it as well. If you are tapping, it will automatically shoot in the direction of an enemy. If you are holding it down, you can control specifically where you want the shot to go for more manual patrol beer.

The crossbow is not doing as much damage as a sword, but its point is to use it against enemies that fly or get stronger enemies to inflict damage but keep them at bay. So you can buy time to heal up and recover. If your health is getting low, you may use arrows to keep your opponent at bay so you can run away and move at a distance and recover and then make an attack later in the future again.

You also need to make sure to start with just bolts. If you have money saved up, you can also go to vendors to upgrade and buy new stuff. Make sure that your character is at a high enough level to do the upgrade.
