How to Use Zipcaster in Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch

In Splatoon 3, there are a variety of new Special Weapons added, and one of them is the Zipcaster. This guide will show you how to use the Zipcaster effectively in your battles.

The Zipcaster will allow your Inkling or Octoling to transform into an ink-cloaked acrobat. You will have the flexibility to stretch your arm and zip around the battlefield. Just use the “R” button to aim and stretch your arm to stick to the walls. During this form, you can still use your main weapon to splat others by pressing the “ZR” button.

There is an advantage to using this Special Weapon. For instance, most players using long-range weapons tend to stay in a certain area where it is hard to reach. By using the Zipcaster, you can easily reach there and splat them.

Another scenario in the Zipcaster that can be used to advantage is by zipping into an area that is controlled by your opponent and splatting them giving your team leverage to take control of that area.

Keep in mind that your transformation will end when your special gauge runs out, so be sure to keep an eye on it.

There is a downside to this special, you will jump back to your initial location where you activated the Zipcaster.

A marker is shown in which opponents can camp at your original jump location where you may be vulnerable to getting splatted. So be mindful of this downside when using it. There you have it. That’s all on how to use the Zipcaster in Splatoon 3.
