Outdoor Designs for New Players in Minecraft

This guide will show you some of the simple outdoor designs in Minecraft. They will add a lot of character to your world. If you’re not new to the game, you’ll likely impress even experienced builders with these.

Table of Contents

    Picnic Basket

The first one is the least simple one. You can use pistons to push together blocks and entities. It is often used if you need something detailed and compact. You can trick campfires by first placing food and then extinguishing the fire. It allows food items to be displayed on the campfire. Now you have got yourself a nice picnic trip in action.

    Animal Trap

This one is cool and somewhat useful; it will be a great little animal trap. You can use whatever wool color and wood you want. When something touches the pressure plate, it shuts. Let’s test it on some clueless mobs. Success!

    Wheelbarrow

This one is a little silly. It’s a little wheelbarrow that adds impressive little detail in your garden.

    Tent

Another detailed design is also useful; you can probably already guess what it is. It is a basic tent design that you can turn into a home. You can keep it like this if you want it as decoration. You can even add a passage to a mineshaft in the tent.

    Sandcastle

This one is perfect for your nearby beach. Let’s fill the moat with water all the way around. It is a favorite purely decorative idea. Pots look like buckets used to shape the towers.

    Working Mailbox

It is a more recent design; it’s especially useful when playing multiplayer. Imagine the leaves being your hedge, a simple working mailbox.

    Beach Umbrella

This one is truly a classic. It is also an opportunity to use some of all your strings. It’s a simple beach umbrella. It goes well with one of these outdoor lounging chairs. Let’s quickly do another color combination. The more umbrellas, the prettier the beach. Experiment with patterns and colors.

    Beekeeper

This one brings a little life to your garden. You probably don’t want it to close your window through. It’s a beekeeper’s beehive. It’s a little expensive with the gold pressure plate, but it makes it clear it’s bees with honey.

    Graveyard

Lost your pet or have someplace you keep dying, a grave is a detail that adds some storytelling to your world. You can add some engraving to the graves as well. You can even add a coffin. There are loads of ways to decorate your graveyard. To give it a purpose, you can also make it your respawn point.

    Dog House

Here’s another one for pets; it is the first viral design. This dog house is a cute addition to your actual house. You can write your dog’s name on this sign. Having a dog outside your house will keep skeletons away. You have to push your dog inside. You can even match the color of the collar to the carpet inside.
