Crafting in outward allows players to create unique items ranging from weapons to food & drinks, armor and survival equipment. The player can then use these items to prolong their stay in the game. You will need to stay hydrated, protect and defend yourself against enemies, keep away from diseases and find suitable places to take rest to reimburse yourself for the next adventure.
There are different ways you can gather these resources. Fishing is a major way to gather resources for later use. You can use different tools like fishing harpoon for this task. Once you have the right tools, all you need to do is find a fishing spot. There are multiple such spots in the game identifiable by swimming fish and water bubbles.
You can then collect this salt water in the water skin and use it in the kitchen not only to get clean water and salt but you can also add these ingredients to a variety of other items to craft foods that will prolong your longevity in the game.
In addition to food, you are going to need other items to survive the deadly creatures in the game. You can craft weapons like arrows, satchels, spikes, bandages and many more. All of which help you stay in the game for longer time.
You can also obtain an alchemy kit over a fire and use it to create potions. These potions include life potions, endurance potions, stability potion, weather resist potion and many more. You can use these potions according to your condition in the game and get the required results.
