PlateUp! is an Indie game created by It’s Happening. Prepare great foods, create and decorate your restaurants, and explore procedurally generated places that will put your culinary skills to the test. PlateUp! Adds a new twist to the genre with its classic culinary action and rogue-lite advancement mechanism.

Split Screen
If you want to play PlateUp! with multiple players on a shared screen, follow the steps below.
- Make sure to connect all the controllers to the gaming device.
- Launch the game and select Multiplayer or Singleplayer mode from the main menu.
- Each player must select or create their profile if you select Multiplayer mode.
- Keyboard players must press the P key to join the game.
- The controller players have to press the A button to join the game.
- After that, you can start a cooking competition.
Host Online
If you are wandering around to host an online session of PlateUp!, you need to follow the steps below.
- Go to the main Menu and select Multiplayer.
- Create a profile for your multiplayer game by selecting Create Profile.
- After that, change the Multiplayer option to Open or Invite Only. Selecting Open will allow anyone to join your game, and if you select Invite Only, it will allow you to invite specific friends to join your game.
- Open the Main Menu by pressing the escape button and then select Multiplayer.
- Select the Invite Friends option to invite friends to join your game. Or you can invite them via Steam Invite.
- After joining, the keyboard player has to press the P key on their keyboard to join the game.
- Then you can start a cooking competition with other players.
Join Online
Follow the steps below to join an online session of PlateUp!
- The host needs to send you a Steam invite to join their game.
- Click on the notification in your Steam client to accept the invite. Or you can navigate to your Steam Friends list to accept the invite.
- After that, launch the game and tap Multiplayer on the main menu.
- Create a profile for your multiplayer game by selecting Create Profile or Profile.
- After some time, you will be automatically connected to the lobby by the host.
- Now the keyboard player must press the P key to join the game.
- All controller players can press the A button to join the game.
- Then you can start a cooking competition with other players.
