Quake II RTX – Save Game

Quake II RTX is a first-person shooter with both single-player and multiplayer modes. It is developed by id Software and available on Microsoft Windows, AmigaOS, Classic Mac OS, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Linux, Xbox 360, and Zeebo. Four weapons are carried over from the original Quake (the Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Grenade Launcher, and Rocket Launcher) but they look different and have new functions.

Where is the save game folder in Quake II RTX?

To access the Quake II RTX save file, you will need to go to Program Files (x86) and then navigate to Steam. You will find the “steamapps” folder there, open it up and go to common. After that, you need to go to Quake II RTX ->baseq2 -> save.

How Do I Install the Save File?

First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.  

Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
