Settings for Xenoverse 2, Increase FPS

This guide will tell you how to BOOST FPS and Increase Performance on Xenoverse 2. To achieve the best performance and a good FPS, you have to make changes in the Windows power plan, and Windows settings. After that, make some changes to the in-game graphics settings.

    Power Plan Settings

    This is a great and easy way to enhance the performance of your system, as they are highly customizable and effective for disabling some sleep and low-power modes.

    1.1- You need to write “edit power plan” in the search column and press enter. Now inside this menu, go to the power option which you will find on top, click on show additional plans and scroll down to select the high-performance power plan.

    1.2- After this, go to the bottom left-handed side of your screen to the search bar and run the Command prompt as an administrator. You have to paste this command “powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61”, then press enter and exit.

    Now again go to the power play menu and press the refresh button on the top right corner. Then you will find the ultimate performance power plan, you need to select this option.

    1.3- After this, you have to right-click on the Xenoverse 2 application file, go to properties and then click on the Compatibility tab on the top of your screen. Make sure that “Disable full-screen optimizations” and “run this program as an administrator” is turned ON. After that, click on Apply and OK.

    Windows Settings

    2.1- You have to make sure that background apps are turned OFF, click on the Windows button, and tap on the settings button. Then you have to go into the privacy settings and scroll down until you find background apps. Turn it OFF as it will increase your performance and will prevent your game from lagging.

    2.2- After this, open the Task Manager by right-clicking on the desktop, and selecting Task Manager. Then go to the Startup tabs and disable all the apps here, right-click on the app and then select disable.

    2.3- Now you have to right-click on my computer, go to properties and then click on the Advanced System settings. It will open a new small window. From there, you have to click on the settings and make sure all the options as given in the picture below are not check-marked. After that, click on Apply.

    2.4- Open the control panel and then click on the Program and Features. After that, you have to click on Windows features and turn OFF&On on the left side of your screen. Make sure that you have unchecked all the Microsoft programs and then click OK.

    2.5- After this, windows will start searching for the required files then you have to open the run and then you have to write MSConfig and open this here you have to set the startup selection to selective startup and then click on Apply.

    2.6- Open the game and don’t close it. Then you have to change your game priority, open the task manager and then under the process tab, you need to right-click on the game and then click on go to details. Then again select the game, right-click on it and select the set priority. After that, set it to High.

    In-Game Settings

    3.1- After doing all the windows settings for the game, you have to open the game, go to options and navigate to the graphics settings. You need to make sure that the resolution is set to the lowest and set the refresh rate of 60Hz. Make sure that the display mode should be set to full screen. V-sync should be turned OFF. Set Frame rate to a variable. then you have to make sure that FXAA is turned On. Distance Scaling and texture quality both should be set to low.

    3.2- After this, go to advanced settings and make sure that everything is turned OFF except character limits you have to set this to Low.
