This error occurs when you try to place objects in the game. The first thing you will need to do is go to the Documents folder in My PC, and you will find the Electronic Arts folder there. All you need to do is rename it, right-click on the folder and tap on the Rename option, and rename it to Electronic Arts Old.
Now you need to run the Origin launcher and make sure that the online mode is enabled. Click on the Origin option at the top of the left side to check it. If you see the Go Offline option, it means that you are in the Online mode. If there’s a Go Online option, you have to click on it to enable the Online mode.
Afterward, you need to repair the Sims 4. To do this, you will need to go to My Game Library on the left side and right-click on the Sims 4. Then click on the Repair option, and wait for a few minutes to complete it to 100%.
After the completion, run the game and go to the game options. Navigate to Other options, and check Enable Custom Content and Mods & Script Mods Allowed options. After you have done it, you will click on Apply Changes to save the settings and exit the game.
Now you will need to go back to the Documents folder on My PC. You will find a new Electronic Arts folder there, as you can see in the image below.
Furthermore, you need to update the modes of the game. You have to install them in the new folder of Electronic Arts. You don’t need to copy the old mods from the Electronic Arts Old folder, all you need to do install the latest versions into the new folder.
Now you have to paste the mods in the new Electronic Arts folder; you don’t have to copy all the mods once. You will copy the mods in small batches, and then you will paste them. After pasting the mods, you need to make sure that they work properly in the game. Run the game and check the mods; you have to repeat the steps until your old mods folder becomes empty.
If your mods don’t work in the game, you will delete the CC file from the mods folder. All you need to do is update the old versions of the mods.

If you have any of the CC installed, then you can do a batch fix. You can fix dishwasher slots, light tuning, mirror tuning, or showers, and many more. This method doesn’t fix all the CC’s. There are only specific CC’s mentioned there.
