The best formation for level 1 is 5 Bards, and 10 Archers.
Level 2: Shooting Fish In A Barrel
Berserkers only are the best formation for level 2.
Level 3: Harpoons Everywhere
The best formation for level 3 is Squires only.
Level 4: Defend The Ship
Samurais only is the best formation for level 4.
Level 5: A Rival Captain
The best formation for level 5 is 35 samurais, and one farmer.
Level 6: Board The Ship
24 Musketeers, and one Ballon archer is the best formation for level 6.
Level 7: Surrounded
The best formation for level 7 is Archers only.
Level 8: Traitors
25 Samurais, and 14 Archers is the best formation for level 8.
Level 9: Defend The Captain
The best formation for level 9 is 18 Halflings, 16 Berserkers, one Square, and captain.
Level 10: Defending The Queen
20 Halflings and 24 Musketeers is the best formation for level 10.

The best formation for level 11 is 11 Bomb throwers, and one Flintluck.
