In this guide, we will share with you how to collect all 19 chests in The Ancient Azure Stars domain. Do note that 4 chests are opened when we’re doing the event quest. Phantasmal conch No.20 is obtainable from this domain as well.
Chest No.1
After you’ve completed the event quest, re-enter the domain and head to the entrance towards the southeast. I will leave the door symbol at the bottom right corner for reference.
Enter the chamber, go up the stairs, and proceed to the next chamber. Go to another side by crossing the bridge. Move on to the next chamber.
Go to the right side of the chamber and look at the wall on the opposite side. We need to connect the mechanism similar to what is shown on the wall.
You can follow the steps and solve the puzzle together or try to get a similar pattern with the wall.
After you have completed the first puzzle, the second puzzle will appear. I deactivated all the mechanisms first before solving the puzzle to make it less confusing. Connect the mechanism similar to what is shown on the wall. After completing the second puzzle, We will get the last puzzle. Again I deactivated all the mechanisms first to avoid confusion.
Connect the mechanism similar to what is shown on the wall. After completing the third puzzle, you will get chest no.1.
Chest No.2
Enter the next chamber via the hidden entrance on the right side of the chest. Move on to the next chamber.
In this chamber, there are four pressure plates on the floor. When facing the pattern, step on the pressure plate at the back once, on the right twice, in front three times, and on the left twice. Collect chest no.2 and interact with conch no.20.
Chest No.3
Go out of the chamber and jump down into the void. Start the time-limited challenge and avoid getting hit more than ten times within 60 seconds. Exit the realm and collect chest no.3 at the main lobby.
Chest No.4
Head to the entrance towards the northeast. If the entrance is sealed, get the “n” shared from another mechanism.
Enter the chamber, go up the stairs, and proceed to the next chamber. In this chamber, you need to connect the mechanism into a heart shape. Collect chest no.4 and proceed to the next chamber.
Chest No.5
We need to form a zigzag pattern for the mechanism in this room. You will get chest no.5 after completing the puzzle.
Chest No.6
Go back to the main lobby and head to the entrance towards the northwest.
Enter the chamber and turn right towards the next chamber. Enter the chamber and turn left towards the next chamber. In this chamber, you need to connect the mechanism into a heart shape. Collect chest no.6.
Chest No.7
Make sure to hit the Hydro stone on the left side of the chest.
Explore further, and you will find a fake exquisite chest. Hit the Hydro stone to make the cave starts raining. Collect chest no.7, which is inside the water reflection. Note that an exquisite chest is fake and will not give you any rewards, and a new exquisite chest will spawn after collecting.
Chest No.8
Proceed to the next chamber and light up the furthest monument with Hydro. If you don’t have the elemental character required, you can use the respawn portal beside to change your party member. Perform an Anemo attack on the monument close to you and the one on the right side. Perform a Pyro attack on the left monument, and you will get chest no.8.
Chest No.9
Move on to the next chamber and put out the fire on the torches, and light up the three torches. Collect chest no.9 and remove the breakable rock beside the torches. This will lower the water level for the next chest.
Chest No.10
Keep running back until you reach the second chamber and collect chest no.10 at a lower platform.
Chest No.11
Head to the entrance towards the south until you reach the first chamber. Interact with the mechanism in the middle and select Switch. Stand on the blue circle and select Ascend. Collect chest no.11 and go back to the blue circle.
Chest No.12
Select Descend and go up the stairs. After you enter the chamber, touch the star twice until it goes to the top right corner of the wall. Connect the mechanism to form stairs for us to go up and touch the star. The star will remove the seal on chest no.12 and form a blue circle in the middle of the chamber.
Chest No.13
Stand in the middle of the blue circle and select Ascend.
Chest No.14
Collect chest no.13, go back to the blue circle, and select Ascend again. Head northwest and collect chest no.14.
Chest No.15
Go to the lower platform from the middle of the lobby and enter the portal. Explore the house and touch the ornament in the bedroom. After entering the realm, go to the middle of the blue circle and face north. Step on the pressure plate in the following order: Front, Back, Left, and Right. Go through the portal and you will get chest no.15.
