The drop wall is a surprising option to counter an energy sword wielder as long as you see them approaching you. Or if you already have a drop wall out as a countermeasure (or in general) since there are three uses.
They can, of course, strafe around the wall (harder on the controller), but it will take time if they aren’t already in your face and will allow you to counter-attack.
It would be even better if 343 buffed the deployment time on the wall too.
