You have to restart Steam; it will work for many players. You will find Steam on the top left side of the screen, click on it, then click on exit. Once Steam is closed, you must open it again and launch the game. The next step is to restart a computer and then launch the game. After that, you need to verify the game files.
Now you have to right-click on the game, select properties, go to the local files tab, and click on “verify the integrity of game files.” After that, you must launch the game and ensure the date-time zone and result are correct in your computer system. You have to click on date and time and click on adjust date and time. Make sure the set time automatically is on over here and in windows 10.
You will find the “set time zone automatically”, make sure it is also on in Windows 11. You have to select the correct time zone to be highlighted. After that, select the right time zone and then click on sync. Once the sync is done, go to language and region and ensure the correct country is selected to launch the game. The next step is to allow the game .exe file to the antivirus program.
So if you have any third-party antivirus, make sure you allow the game .exe file to your antivirus program. If you’re using Windows security, you must go to the Start menu and click on settings. Now, if you have windows 11, click on Privacy and Security. If you have windows 10, you have to click on Update and Security, click on Windows security, and tap on Virus and Threat protection. After that, scroll down, click on manage ransomware protection, click on allow an app through control folder access, and click Yes to allow.
After that, you must click on “Add an allowed app” and “browse all apps.” Then you have to go to the game installation folder, so in your case, it may be in C drive, so select C drive program files x86, open the steam folder, go to the steam apps folder, and open the common folder.
Then you need to open the V Rising folder, select the game .exe file, and click on open. Once the game is added, you have to launch the game. The next step is to allow the game to the Windows firewall for this type in the control panel in the Windows search box.
You have to click on the control panel, then click on system and security, and tap on the Windows Defender firewall. After that, click on “Allow an app or feature through Windows defender firewall,” click on change settings on the top, and click on allow another app. After that, you must go to the game installation folder, open steam folders, go to the steam apps, and then head to common.
You must navigate to the re-rising folder, select the game .exe file, click on open, and click Add. Again click on browse, and this time, open V Rising server, select vrisingserver.exe and then click on the open option.
After that, you must click on Add, then OK button, and launch the game. The next step is to run the “netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal“. So you need to type in cmd in the Windows search box, right-click on the command prompt app, and then click on the run as administrator. Ensure you open the “command prompt” as an administrator clicks on yes to paste the command and press the enter key.
Once done launching the game, the next step is to disable the manual proxy. Go to the start menu, click on settings network and internet proxy, and ensure the manual proxy is turned off. The next step is to run a network troubleshooter for this. Go to the start menu, then click on settings.
If you have windows 11, you need to click on the system, and you will find troubleshooting, so select the system and scroll down. You will find troubleshoot; click on it in Windows 10, tap on “update and security”, and tap on troubleshooting. After that, click on additional troubleshooters or other troubleshooters and find the network adapter. Then in Windows 11, you need to do the same.
You will find three dots, click on them and then run the troubleshooter in Windows 10. After that, you need to click on “run the troubleshooter,” Once the troubleshoot is complete, restart your computer and launch the game.
The next step is to run these commands.
So type in “cmd” in the Windows search box, make a right-click on the command prompt app, then click on “run as an administrator,” and then click on “yes” to allow now copy all the commands one by one and paste them and click the enter key.

Now, after restarting the computer, you have to launch the game. The next step is to perform a network reset now. Before performing a network reset, ensure that you have the wi-fi password because after the network reset.
When you try to connect, it will ask for your wi-fi password. For this, go to the start menu, click on settings, click on network and internet, and in windows 11, click on advanced network settings. Then you will see network reset, so click on network reset, click on reset, and now click on yes this will restart the computer, and after the system restarts, click on the wi-fi icon and click on connect. It will be asking for your password. Enter the password and then connect. Now the next step is to switch to different networks.
If you have different networks, if you own any other network, try to connect to a different network and check now. The next step is to use an ethernet connection, so if your computer has an ethernet port and an ethernet cable, use an ethernet connection and then check the performance. Now you need to update your windows 10 or windows 11.
So make sure that your windows are up to date, so go to the start. When you click on settings, click on update and security, and then click on “check for the update”. After the update, you need to restart and then launch the game.
