If you want to host a new game session and invite your friends to play, follow the steps below. There are two methods to do so, and you can try any of them.

Method 1:

  • Launch the game and choose “START GAME” from the main menu.
  • A list of options will appear, and you must select “CREATE ROOM”.
  • After that, input a “ROOMNAME”.
  • And then tap on “CREATE ROOM.”
  • You must invite your friends via Steam Invite to join the game session.
  • Tap on “READY” when all players are ready to play.

Method 2:
  • Launch the game and choose “START GAME” from the main menu.
  • A list of options will appear, and you must select “INVITE A FRIEND”.
  • After that, Invite your friends via Steam Invite to join the game session.
  • Tap on “READY” when all players are ready to play.

Join Online

Follow the steps below if you want to join We Were Here’s online co-op or multiplayer mode. There are two methods to do so.

Method 1:

  • Launch the game and choose “START GAME” from the main menu.
  • A list of options will appear, and you must select “JOIN RANDOM ROOM”.
  • After that, tap “READY” when all players are ready to play.
