Make your way over to the whiterun stables.
Take a trip to riften.
Head northeast from the stables and up the hill.

Cat's to the rescue.
Amulet and blessing both give 10% better prices.
Head into riften.
Sell any heavy armor (keep enchanted items).
Join the thieves guild.
Down the Ratway.
Run.
After being accepted, loot the guild chests.
And get a second set of thieves armor from the armory.
And make sure to speak to Vex and Delvin.
Head to the windhelm docks and buy a trip to solstheim.
Walk the plank.
