The main threat you will encounter in the bulb zone is the Ampeel; you should try to avoid it as best. You also have to avoid the bonshark or kill them with the survival knife. You can use perimeter defense against it to get it away from you.
Once you reach the first wreck, you have to look around on the inside and the outside seafloor for power transmitter fragments.
Once you finish searching the first wreck, you have to start from the first wreck and head about 1 bump to the right of the east until you come across a second wreck.
