Automatic Cow Farm Tutorial – Minecraft Bedrock

In this guide, you will find how to set up an AUTOMATIC COW FARM in Minecraft Bedrock.

88 Building Blocks

29 Glass

4 Hoppers

2 Chests

5 Dispensers

4 Lava

1 Water

6 Ladders

2 Buttons

1 Redstone Lamp

5 Redstone

4 Trapdoors

14 Slabs

1 Observer

4 Chains

4 Signs

Follow these steps to make the farm:

Step 1: First, you have to find yourself a good spot to build your farm.

Step 2: Dig 6 blocks in a row just like this.

Step 3: Dig 2 extra blocks on this side.

Step 4: Mine the selection out, so you end up with a 6×3.

Step 5: Fill this up with building blocks.

Step 6: Place a chest down in this position.

Step 7: Go to the back and place 2 hoppers like this.

Step 8: Make sure you placed them correctly, and also place a hopper like this.

Step 9: Do the same on the other side.

Step 10: Place blocks around the hoppers.

Step 11: Place blocks behind the hoppers.

Step 12: Go up by 2 blocks on these positions.

Step 13: Place dispensers facing this way on top.

Step 14: Place lava in each dispenser.

Step 15: Place the glass in these positions.

Step 16: The Redstone part is really easy.

Step 17: Place a Redstone lamp in this position.

Step 18: You have to place an observer facing this way in this position.

Step 19: Might be a bit hard to palace, but the arrow has to be facing this way.

Step 20: Remove the temporary block and place blocks here.

Step 21: Place Redstone on top of these blocks.

Step 22: Just like this.

Step 23: Place another layer of blocks on top of your structure.

Step 24: Place 2 blocks in every corner.

Step 25: Place the dispenser above the Redstone lamp.

Step 26: Place chains facing this way.

Step 27: The chains are necessary so that baby cows can fall through.

Step 28: Place water in this dispenser.

Step 29: Get yourself some signs and place them on these blocks.

Step 30: Now fill the holes in using glass.

Step 31: Place slabs on top.

Step 32: You can place ladders on the side to easily go up and down.

Step 33: Place buttons on these positions for your lava/water system.

Step 34: Simply click on the button to test it out.

Step 35: Go to the side of your building and place a temporary staircase.

Step 36: To lure cows, you can use a lead.

Step 37: Place a temporary block and remove the lead.

Step 38: Another way to lure a cow is by using wheat.

Step 39: Once done, you can start breeding using wheat.

Step 40: Flick the top button so that you can reach the cows.

Step 41: The more cows you have, the better the farm.

Step 42: As you can see, they jump pretty high, you can fix this by placing trapdoors.

Step 43: Now they won’t jump that high anymore but you can still reach them.

Step 44: All baby cows will fall down.

Step 45: Once they have grown up, you can click on the Lower button.

Step 46: It will kill them and all the loot will fall into the chest.
