Carcharodontosaurus Guide – ARK: Survival Evolved

Carcharodontosaurus is the last wild card entry in ARK: Survival Evolved. This guide will provide you everything you need to know about this giant.

Spawning Carcharodontosaurus

Carcharodontosaurus is the rival to Giganotosaurus, so you need to kill some of them to spawn Carcharodontosaurus. Now to tame these, you first have to capture metal gates using a bear trap and then feed it a corpse. Getting in front of it is recommended so that he sniffs the corpse and then eats it. The hexagon icon will appear at the top, indicating the tame is going perfectly.

After that, drag the large corpse to it to make it happy, and he will become your friend. Then you need to break the gate to free it and hop onto it. Now you will have ten minutes to kill as many creatures as possible to fill up the tame bar. Once the bar gets full, a screen will pop up where you can name your beast.

How to create a Saddle

You have to be on level 96 to craft a saddle for Carcharodontosaurus. You will need some chitin, fibre, metal ingots and hide to craft it.

Attacks

Now let’s dive into Carcharodontosaurus’s attacks; the left click attack will damage and impart a bleed effect on the enemy. After killing an enemy, including Frenzy, you will get a couple of buffs, which will speed him up for ten seconds. The second one is Blood Rage; you will get a stack of blood rage once you kill a creature. The more stacks you get, the more damage you can do. But keep in mind not all creatures will give you blood rage. The right-click attack is a tail whip attack, and you will also gain stacks of blood rage after killing a creature with this secondary attack.

You can press C on PC to have Carcharodontosaurus shout, it will gain incited buff, and any allied creature around it will also get this buff. Depending upon the stacks of blood rage, it will increase the speed and length of this buff.

Carcharodontosaurus is an extraordinary creature in the game and is much easier to tame than others.
