Where is the save game folder in Dead Effect?
There are two locations of the Dead Effect save file. If you didn’t find it in the first location, you can go for the next one.
- You can find the save file in your user directory. You have to open Windows Explorer and navigate to Roaming. After that, double-click on “BadFly Interactive” and then “DeadEffect1” to access the save file.
Example – C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\BadFly Interactive\DeadEffect1
- You have to go to Roaming inside your user directory and double-tap on Steam -> CODEX -> 286040.

How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
