DOOM Eternal – PC Save Game

DOOM Eternal is a first-person shooter video game published by ID Software and Panic Button Games. Fight through dimensions as you use strong weapons and skills to slay evil hordes. Where is the save game folder in DOOM Eternal?

You’d need to extract the remote folder based on your operating systems in the save folder. The specified path for the save game folder of each operating system is given below:

Steam:

Begin by navigating to the Steam installation folder (Steam-Folder), then locate the userdata folder where you’ll find the folder with your User ID, which serves as the path for saving your game progress.

Steam: “Steam-Folder\userdata\USER-ID\782330\remote”

Other Windows Versions:

Access the User profile folder and open the id Software folder within the Saved Games directory. Inside this folder, go to DOOMEternal, open up base, and navigate to the savegame folder where you’ll discover the save game path associated with the game.

Other Windows Versions: %UserProfile%\Saved Games\id Software\DOOMEternal\base\savegame\USER-ID\GAME-AUTOSAVE0

Linux:

On a Linux system, start by locating the Steam installation folder. Then, navigate to the compat data folder within steamapps. Open the specified user ID folder to access your game’s save game files path.

Linux: “~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/782330/pfx”

How Do I Install the Save File?

First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save game location and make sure to have a backup of your save.  

Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
