Trine 2 is a sidescrolling game, in which you play as one of three Heroes who all have unique abilities and playstyles. Join Amadeus the Wizard and Pontius the Knight, who have the ability to cast powerful area-of-effect spells and sword fights respectively. Or Zoya the Thief, who has her trusty dagger for close-quarters stabbing.
Where is the save game folder in Trine 2: Complete Story?
There are three locations of the Trine 2: Complete Story save file. If you didn’t find it in the first location, you can always follow the next one.
- To find the save file, you will need to open Program Files (x86) inside the C drive and navigate to Steam. After that, open up the “userdata” folder and you will find your STEAM USER ID NUMBER.
Example – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\STEAM USER ID NUMBER\35720\remote
- The save file is located in your user directory. You will need to open the file explorer and navigate to Local -> SKIDROW -> 35720 -> Storage.
Example – C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\SKIDROW\35720\Storage
- To access the save file, you have to go to Local inside your user directory and double-click on “Trine2”.
Example – C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Trine2
How Do I Install the Save File?
First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save games location and make sure to have a backup of your save.
Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
