This guide will find every potion success and backfire in The Sims 4 Alchemy.  

To discover new potions in the game, you first need to experiment with cauldrons. You need to have a potion of good fortune and make this at rank one or apprentice level. You will get a plus one happy moodlet for twenty-four hours if you make it successfully. At that time, you will earn money or ingredients from experimenting. You can also engage in household interactions. If you fail to make it, you will get plus one to embarrass the moodlet, and it will also increase the failure rate for four hours, as shown in the image below. 

The potion of Plentiful need is also available in rank one, and it is beneficial because it matches all of your needs. If you fail to make this potion, then all of your needs will get to fifty percent only, and if you drink twice, your needs will be at their maximum level. 

The potion of Nausea will be available at rank one, and it will give you plus one uncomfortable moodlet for two hours. It will also provide you with a spicy ability in which you can vomit everywhere, and you will get a plus two happy moodlet for five hours. 

Potion of Nimble is available at rank one, and if you successfully make this potion, it will increase the speed of your sim and game for six hours. If you fail to make it correctly, you will get a plus-one board moodlet that lasts for two hours. 

Potion of Magical Aura will be available at rank one in apprentice, and it will give you plus two happy moodlet for six hours, and your sim face will glow yellow. If you fail to make it correctly, it will give you plus two embarrassed moodlet for six hours, and your sim legs will glow.

Potion of Alluring Aura will be available at rank two, and if you drink it, you will get plus one flirty moodlet for six hours. If you fail to make it, you will get plus one embrace moodlet for two hours. 

The potion of emotional stability will be available at rank two in neophyte, and it will give you plus four happy moodlet for six hours. If you fail to make it correctly, it will show you every emotion in the game, and your sim will get confused and puzzled, as shown in the image below.  

Potion of Perk Purging will be available at rank three, and it will reset all your sim’s current perk points. If you fail to make it, your sim will get a plus three dazed moodlet for twenty-four hours.

You can unlock the potion of forced friendship will be unlocked at rank three in acolyte, and it will give you plus one confident moodlet for six hours. It will also allow you to use the power of frost friendship interaction, forcing other sims to be friends with you. If you fail to make it correctly, you will get a plus one uncomfortable moodlet for two hours. 

Potion of master for insult will be available at rank four, and it will give you a plus one angry moodlet for six hours. If you fail, you will get a plus-one happy moodlet for two hours, as shown in the image below.  

The potion of Rejuvenation is available at rank four or adapt level spell caster, and it will reset your sim’s current age. If you fail to make it correctly, it will change your current age to the final date of your sim’s life. 

You can unlock the potion of Curse Cleansing at rank four, and if you drink it, it will remove all curses on your sim. If you cannot make it correctly, you will get more curses on your sim, as shown in the image below.  

You can unlock the potion of Immortality at rank five in the master spell caster, and if you drink this potion, you will get the immortality trait. You will never age again, and if you fail to make it correctly, you will get a plus three tense moodlet, and it will turn your sim into a ghost for twenty-four hours, as shown in the image below. 

You can unlock the potion of the Transcendent Charmer at rank five or master-level spell caster. If you successfully make this potion, you will get plus one flirty moodlet, which will last for six hours, and if you fail to make it correctly, you will get plus one confident moodlet that will last for two hours shown in the image below. 

You can unlock the potion of Prompt Resurrection at rank five or in master-level spell caster. If you drink it, then you will get plus two confident moodlet and also complete protection from death for forty-eight hours, if you fail to make it correctly, then you will get plus two sad moodlet, but you will be able to be safe from death for forty-eight hours, as shown in the image below.
