You can get Michalis as a featured hero in the Early Bird Grand Hero Battle. Initially, you can get him at 3★ for Hard Difficulty and 4★ at Lunatic Difficulty. No information about difficulty was released about his Official Grand Hero Battle on March 24.

Comparing Michalis to Minerva (another Green Flying Axe user), they are almost equal in terms of HP, ATK, and RES. But Minerva’s SPD is 38 at max and Michalis only has 26. He compensates with a good DEF at 35 and a low 27 DEF to his sister.

Skills:

Notable Weapons (might):

• Iron Axe (6)
• Steel Axe (8)
• Silver Axe (11)
• Hauteclere (16)

Hauteclere is the personal axe of Minerva. In Fire Emblem Heroes, looks like she shares it with her brother, Michalis. Equipping Hauteclere can accelerate Michalis’ Special Skill (cool down -1).

Special Skills:

• Rising Thunder
• Blazing Thunder

Both Rising Thunder and Blazing Thunder can inflict damage in an area around Michalis’ target. The Blazing Thunder has an additional damage equal to 150% x Michalis’ ATK minus foe’s DEF or RES.

Passives Skills:

• Iote’s Shield

This skill neutralizes “effective against” bonuses. This is extremely helpful if Michalis is fighting against a party with an Archer.

• Threaten DEF (1/2/3)

This skill can inflict DEF (-3/-4/-5) to foes within 2 tiles through their next action at the start of each turn.

Michalis | Final Evaluation:

Michalis and Minerva are almost neck to neck. If you still don’t have Minerva, Michalis is a good alternative and vice versa. His Blazing Thunder Special Skill is good in terms of chipping away some HP. The Iote’s Shield Passive Skill is great as it nullifies his weakness against Archers.

Blazing Thunder is unlockable at 4★ for 300 SP. Iote’s Shield is also at 4★ for 200 SP.
