The first thing you will need to do is press the options button from the controller to open up the game options. Then go to the settings option, and tap on the controller tab, as shown in the image below.
After that, scroll down until you find the auto sprint option. And then enable it after finding.
Next, you need to close all the settings tabs and go back to the game. Hold your left joystick forward, and you will start sprinting, as shown in the image below.
