This guide will let you know how to Auto Update Fortnite on PS4 and PS5. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to do so.
Step 1
The first thing you will need to do is tap on the Settings icon on the top right side of the screen. Then scroll down and click on the Systems settings, as shown in the image below.
You have to select the Power Saving mode on the left side menu and tap on the “Feature Available in Rest Mode” option.
Step 2
After that, turn on the “stay connected with internet” option to download the update files from the internet while you are away.
Now, you will need to head back to the main settings menu and select the System option, then tap on the “Saved Data and Game/App Settings” option.
Step 3
The next thing you will need to do is tap on the Automatic Updates option, then go to the Auto-Download option and turn it on.
Step 4
This option will allow the Playstation to check for updates regularly, and if there is any, it will automatically download and update. You also need to turn on the Autoinstall in the Rest Mode option; it will download the update when your PlayStation is in rest mode. It will allow the update files to be installed while in the rest mode, as shown in the image below.
You can only use these steps for the PS4 and PS5.
