This guide will tell you how to battle or do ring matches in Dragon Ball FighterZ with your friends. You have to follow the given guide to know how the matchmaking system works in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
To find your friends, you need to be in the same lobby within the same region. Suppose you are in the arena match first lobby within the region Canada west coast. So the friend who wants to join you has to be in the same place to see your avatar and enter your ring. In this way, the matchmaking system works. If you want to switch the current lobby, you need to press L2 and come over to the Gate option. Click on it and go with the Yes option.
Once you have done it, you need to talk to the gate reception and switch the region and the lobby. It depends upon the host.
Once you and your friend are inside the same lobby, you need to press the R2 button. Here, you have to set the rules of the ring match in Ring Settings. If you want to play with the only friend option, you can set the password. If you do not set the password, strangers can enter within the same lobby, and you can have more fun with them. After setting the password, you need to send the password to your friend. Set the rules, and come up with the Create Ring option.
If you press R1 to view the lobby, the ring match will open, and your friend needs to step inside the ring and then press the X button. If you set up the password, then he needs to enter the password to enter the lobby.
After entering the password, he will enter the room, as you can see in the image below.
You might face a problem where you can not find the room. To get rid of this issue, you need to reset your console; it can help you. The other way to solve this issue is that you can switch to other lobbies.
Once you have done it, you need to select your team and press the X button to prepare for the match.
If you want to join the room of somebody else, then you need to apply the same rules. You have to be inside the same lobby with your friend and then come up to the ring and press the X button when you are inside the ring, as you can see in the image below.
If your friend set up the password, then you need to enter the password here. Once you have done it, click on the Join This Ring button at the bottom.
After clicking on it, you need to select your team, and then you will be in the room. If you are playing with your friend, you cannot start the game until your friend does it.
