How to Cancel PS Plus Subscription on PS5 & Turn Off Auto-Renew

In this guide, you will come to know how to cancel the PS Plus Subscription on PS5. You will also learn how to turn off Auto-Renew.  

When you are on the home screen of Playstation, you will need to go to the top and navigate to the settings option. Then you have to tap over to the “User and Accounts” options, as shown in the image below.  

In the Accounts section, you will see the accounts settings menu on the right side of the screen. You will need to scroll down and go to the “Payment and Subscriptions” option, as shown in the image below.  

It will jump you onto a new window; you have to scroll down and tap on the Subscriptions option. After that, you have to go to the Playstation Plus option in Subscriptions. 

You will see your PlayStation Plus membership there, and you will also find your next charge for the subscription and the renewal date for the subscription. You will find two options, “Turn off Auto-Renew” and “Extend”, at the bottom of the screen.

You have to select the “Turn Off Auto-Renew” option, and it will say that “are you sure you want to go”. Now, you will need to click on the “Turn it Off” button at the bottom right side of the screen, as shown in the image below.  

It will ask you a reason for turning it off, so you must open the drop-down menu and select the reason. After that, press the OK button, and you will see a notification stating, “Auto-renew is now off for Playstation Plus, as shown in the image below.  

And if you want to turn it on, you have to go back to the subscription screen, and there in the bottom left corner, you have to tap on the “Turn On Auto-Renew” option, and then you can easily turn on the auto-renew again.
