This guide will let you how to CHANGE CROSSHAIR Colors in APEX LEGENDS.
- The default color in Apex Legends for your crosshair is red and you will notice when you are going throughout the environment, there are some areas where these crosshairs do kind of like blending in.
- It’s very easy to change your crosshairs, you need to press options and go to settings. Navigate to Gameplay and scroll down until you get to Reticles.
- Now, go on over to customize, and there will be the different environments on the top, so you have this environment and then you will have like a kind of hallway environment with a darker and lighter area. Then you will have a forest water and sky area, then a volcano lava and rock and light area.
- On the bottom, you do have a color slider, so the default is red and you can move it all the way over to change the Color. The light grass area blends in quite a bit, so the best color for these environments would probably be more like blue. You will notice how much this stands out in these two environments.
- Now, if you do switch back over to like water or a sky environment, a lighter blue would probably be the worst in this environment. You can make it even a little bit lighter but then if you go back to the hallway environment, this hallway will be completely blue and this reticle blends directly in.
- You can go through the different slides to see the best environment for your reticle, so if you slide this and continue, it will be more like a purple color and eventually pink and back to red. On the bottom, you will have a light or dark slider, so if you want to make this vertically lighter you can change this to the right.
Now if you want to make it darker, you can slide it all the way to the left and you can see the crosshairs in the dark environment are practically invisible to you.
- On the right side of the screen, you will have specific recommended or default ones. So if you look at the recommended ones, you can choose them according to your choice but the Yellow is the most recommended one. Because the yellow one is kind of nice because it does stand out quite a bit in most environments.
- The only environments you can have an issue with is when you’re looking at graphs in the lighter environments and there are not many situations where you’re going across the lava. The light grass tends to be an issue and then you will have the blue one, the pink one, the green one, and the default one will be red.
- Go back to Settings and navigate under Accessibilities, there is a color blind mode, so if you are deficient in a specific color, you may want to go ahead and turn it ON because colors will be more apparent and vibrant for you.
