This guide will tell you how to CONNECT CONTROLLER to Fortnite. You have to follow all the steps carefully to connect it.
1- First of all, you have to open your web browser and go to steampower.com. After that, click on the Install Steam button on the top right corner of your screen, it will take you to a new page, and you need to click on Install Steam. As you click on it, the Steam setup file will start downloading.
2- After the download completes, you have to click on the open file and then install Steam. Once the installation process completes, you need to login into Steam and if you don’t have a Steam account then you can click on Create New. Otherwise, you have to click on login using an existing account.
3- Once you are logged in, you need to add the epic game launcher to the steam library. After this, go to your Windows Bluetooth, and turn it ON. Then you have to click on an Add device button and select Bluetooth device. Now you have to press the sync button on your controller and then wait for a few seconds until your controller appears in the list of Add a device. Once the controller appears, you have to select it, and it will start connecting to your PC.
4- Once the controller is connected to your PC, you have to open Steam and then go to the big picture mod by clicking on the big picture mod option on the top right corner of your screen. After that, go to settings and select the controller settings option. You will find your controller under the detected controller. Then you have to checkmark the Switch Pro configuration support and make sure that the use Nintendo button layout is also check marked. In this list, you will get the options for different controllers, you can select the option according to which controller are you using.
5- After this, you have to exit the big picture mod and go back to normal steam. Now you need to click on the add a new game button on the bottom left corner of your screen. A small pop-up menu will appear and you have to click on Add Non-Steam game.
6- After this, restart Steam and go to your library, select the epic game launcher and then click on the Play button. It will start loading up the Epic game launcher. Once it is launched, you have to select Fortnite and then click on the Play button. Before doing this, you have to make sure that your controller is connected to your PC.
