This guide will let you know how to find the Disease Research Facility in Subnautica.
You will need to head 1-2 bumps to the right of the northwest, starting from the coral tube sticking up out of the water. Keep moving until you reach a blood kelp trench next to the northwestern mushroom forest.
It is recommended to have a sea moth with an Mk3 Depth module and perimeter defense, a high or ultra-high capacity O2 tank, and a survival knife. If you plan to explore the facility, you have to bring 1-2 purple tablets.
The main threat you will encounter near the facility is the warper which can warp you out of your vehicle. You can either run away or attack with your knife to give enough damage to warp away if they do. You can also use perimeter defense against them to get them to warp away from you.
The other threats you might encounter while heading to the facility are the river prowler and the ghost leviathan; you have to avoid them as best as you can.
The coordinates for the facility are (-252 -814 316).
Once you’re in the begining of the lost river and an area that looks like this, you have to head straight while staying near the left side of the wall/cave until you reach a drop that goes down to about 800m.
It is the drop that you are looking for.
Once you’ve gone down the drop and you are in a large area that looks like this, then you will see a sort of large Rock/Mass in the center of the area where you should see a skull on the rock. You have to head straight from the rock and see an entrance with some green pillars on the left side and lights on the pillars; you have to go through that.
