This guide will show you how to fix Fable 2 Character using a Patch for Massive Performance Gains.
1- First, click on the following link to download the Patch file https://github.com/xenia-canary/game-patches. Once the patch is downloaded, open it up, go to the 81 lines in this file, set it to false, and save it.
2- After that, close this file, go into the patches folder, and scroll until you find Fable II. Then open up this file, come under the patch, and it needs to be true. It will disable texture morphing the thing currently broken inside the emulator.
3- First, off-makeup causes your character to have a bugged head, but things like hair seem fine. It also disables the dog’s texture morph but allows you to change it to a different breed, such as a husky or whatever the evil morph, but this thing is very legit and works well. It doesn’t fix the exploding dog, but it looks much better, adding much more to this game.
4- Go back to your game and disable that preview to get the maximum FPS possible; you can see the game is smooth and fluid. It looks awesome. Now the dog is not bugged. He has all of his furs, but that might change; you will find some issues when he moves, but other than that, he looks awesome.
5- Go to a transition point, meaning you have to go to a Rook rich, which will take a second to load. There should be some people to fight. After that, take the treasurer, but the dog still does bug out, but that’s to be expected. The FPS is much better than before, hopefully making this game more playable to have a character fixed and working.
