In this guide, you will find out how to FIX Privacy Settings to Allow Party Chat on PS5 with Friends.
First of all, you have to go to the home screen of your PlayStation and then click on the settings from the top right corner of your screen. After that, go to Users and Accounts, then go to privacy and click on View and Customize your privacy settings.
After that, scroll down until you find the communication and multiplayer option. Under this, you need to select who can interact with you through parties, games, and messages. You can set it to friends only, Nobody, and no one.
After this, go back and select “Adjust Privacy Settings by Choosing a Profile”. From here, you have to choose a privacy profile in which you want to play online. You will have four options; Social and open, team player, friend-focused, and solo-focused. You can choose any according to your choice.
After this, go back to the home screen, then go to the game base, and click on Start a Party. Click on Close Party and then select the friends with whom you want to start this party. You can mute the person by selecting his name, then press options, and mute that person.
