How to Fix Riot Vanguard Crashed in Valorant

In this guide, you will come to know how to fix the Riot Vanguard crash in Valorant. You have to follow the simple steps in this guide to fix it.

Exit Vanguard

First, you will need to ensure that the Vanguard process is not running in the background. In your system tray, right-click the icon and select Exit Vanguard.

Restart VGC Process

When this is done, you should proceed to manually restart the process and make sure that it will start up automatically. You have to open up your Windows Services Manager by searching for Services in your start menu search. On this window, select any service and start typing VGC; it will show you the VGC service in this list. After that, right-click the service and select Properties. In the General section of this panel, set the Startup Type to Automatic. Next, under Service Status, you have to click on Start. It will start the Riot Vanguard process and will, in most cases, fix the “Riot Vanguard Crashed” error you are getting.

Reinstall Riot Vanguard

If this did not help you out, you would need to reinstall Riot Vanguard to your system. Open up your Windows Settings. Under Apps, select Installed Apps. Make sure to filter your search by all drives and search for Vanguard. Riot Vanguard will show up in this list, and you can then click on the burger menu on the left-hand side to uninstall the program.

To reinstall it to your system, you have to re-launch your Riot Client, and it will take a minute to redownload the files to your system. If your system meets the minimum system requirements, then crash issues for Valorant should be fixed.
