This guide will show you how to fully upgrade Leviathan Axe to level 9 in God of War Ragnarok.
You’ll obtain enough Frozen Flames to get the Leviathan axe to level 6. So the first thing you will need to do is go to the planes in the crater of Anaheim, and you’ll get the Frozen flame as a reward after defeating the Crimson dread dragon. You must follow the path through the gate, and you will find the Crimson dread there. You will need to defeat him to get the Frozen flame.
After that, make your way to the shop and upgrade the Leviathan axe. Next, you must go to Alfheim’s Barons to fight a Berserker, and you can only access this section after completing the secrets of the Sands’s favor. After that, defeat three Berserkers, and you will get the Frozen flame.
Now you will need to find the location of every Hel-Tear, and each will reward you with a frozen Spark. All six Frozen Sparks will create the Frozen flame. You have to make your way to the southern wilds, and you will find a realm tear very close to the Mystic Gateway.
After that, head back to the Aurvangar wetlands, and you will find the first Hel-Tear near the river.
Now you will need to move back to the Strond in Alfheim and find the next realm tear in front of the Mystic Gateway.
Afterward, make your way to the well of URD and climb to the top of the mountain. You will find your next realm tear there, and it will complete the hel-to-pay favor. Now you can fully upgrade your Leviathan axe to level 9.
