This guide will let you know how to get to the Observatory in Subnautica.
Starting from the coral tube sticking up out of the water, you have to make your way about two bumps or 1 in half bumps to the left of southwest until you reach the floating island.
It is recommended to have either a sea moth or sea glide to reach the island faster, a high capacity O2 tank, and a survival knife.
The only threat you should encounter on the island is the cave crawler; you can easily avoid or kill them using the survival knife.
The coordinates for the island are (-800, 80, -1055).
