In this guide, you will find out how to install the Josie preset face and body for Fallout 4.
1. The first thing you will need to do is to install the WinRAR or 7zip file archiver. Search WinRAR download on any browser and install the latest version of the archiver.
2. After that, you need to download the “Josie – A Looks Menu Preset” mod from “https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38061“. Open the link, look for the requirements section first and right-click on each requirement. Open it in the new tab and download each individual requirement. Some requirements are optional so you don’t need to install them.
3. Go to the Files tab and click on the manual download button or you can also select the mod manager download option for each requirement. You need to have an account to download files from the Nexus Mods website.
4. Now go to the downloads folder and select all the required downloaded files & drag them into the Mods section of the vortex launcher.
5. Then install each mod there and click on the More button to resolve the conflict between mods i.e. which mods to load first. For the cute Asian face requirement file, you also need to copy this [archive] text from the main section of the mod details page and then go to your game’s directory. Open the Fallout4Custom.ini file, and paste that here.
6. Make sure there isn’t any space between the lines and then press save to save the file. Then open the second base file (Fallout4custom.ini) and paste that text here and save the file.
7. The next important thing is to right-click both of the .ini files, then go into the properties and checkmark the read-only option then click Apply.
8. Now drop the “Josie – A Looks Menu Preset” downloaded file into the vertex launcher the same way you did with the required files. Then enable and install it.
9. Once you have installed all the requirements, go to the Steam application and select the game under the library. Right-click on the game and select the properties > local files > Browse and go to the fallout 4 directory.
10. Then inside fallout 4, you need to go further into this directory Fallout > Data> F4SE > plugins > F4EE > Presets then open the “Josie – A Looks Menu Preset” downloaded mod file and drag the Josie-Classic.json and Josie.json files from it into the presets folder of Fallout 4. Now the mod has been installed and you can launch your game.
