How to install Weapon Swap Stuttering Fix Mod in Starfield

To install the Weapon Swap Stuttering Fix mod in Starfield, you can follow these straightforward steps:

For Steam Users: 

  1. Firstly, download the Weapon Swap Stuttering Fix mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
  2. After downloading the mod file, you’d need to unpack the file archive into the Starfield game directory.

  1. You should also download and install the Starfield Script Extender (SFSE) tool and always launch the game through it.

For XBOX PC (GAME PASS)

  1. Firstly, visit the ASI loader GitHub page and download the “bink2w64.dll“ file available under the description section. 
  2. Go to the root directory (XboxGames\Starfield\Content) of the Starfield game. Here you will find a dll file named “bink2w64.dll” which needs to be renamed to “bink2w64Hooked.dll“.
  3. Now copy the “bink2w64.dll” file you just downloaded from GitHub and paste it in the root directory of your Starfield game (XboxGames\Starfield\Content).
  4. Lastly, download the “Weapon Swap Stuttering Fix ASI” file from the Nexus site and unfold the archive into the root directory of your Starfield game (XboxGames\Starfield\Content).

Alternatively, you can also auto-install the mod by using Vortex mod manager.
