“Weightless Resources and Other Items” enables you to alter the weight of many in-game goods, including resources, aid/chems, food, and more. You can either make these objects weightless or cut their weight in half, which eliminates the need for ongoing inventory management and frees you up to enjoy the game more.
To install the Weightless Resources and Other Items mod in Starfield, follow these simple steps:
- First, download the Weightless Resources and Other Items mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
- After downloading the mod file, you’ll need to put the ‘Weightless.esp’ file into the Data folder Starfield game directory.
Starfield location:
Local Disk (C:) > Users > Documents > My Games > Starfield
Starfield location (Steam):
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starfield\
Note: You’ll have to overwrite the files in case of any duplicate files.
- Now, download the ‘StarfieldCustom.ini’ file, which can be found in the ‘Misc’ folder.
- Move the ‘StarfieldCustom.ini’ file to the ‘Starfield’ directory.
- If you already have the ‘StarfieldCustom.ini’ file, simply add the following lines to it.
[General]
sTestFile1=Weightless.esp
Note:
If you have multiple .esp mods and want to load this mod as, for example, the third mod, you can change the number accordingly, such as sTestFile3=Weightless.esp. The number represents the load order of the mod, ranging 1 to 10.
Alternatively, you can also auto-install the mod by using Vortex mod manager.
That’s it! Your mod is now installed. You can try it out by launching the game.
