Banners are tall decorative blocks and you can also customize them using dyes. They can be used for decoration and to make a patterned shield.
You will need Wood Log, Sheep Wool, Wood Planks and Wood Sticks to make a Banner. Please follow the following steps to make a Banner.
Wood Log
In order to make a banner, the basic item that you will need to get is a wood log of any kind. So cut down any of the trees using your iron axe to obtain a wood log.
Sheep Wool
After that the next item that you will have to find and get is wool, so find sheep and get at least six wool out of them. But don’t kill them, just use shears to get wool.
Wood Planks
After that you need to make wood planks from an oak wood block you have collected. One wood block will convert into 4 wooden planks. Make you way to the crafting table and add a wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get four wooden planks in the right-side box to the crafting table. Bring these planks into inventory.
Wood Sticks
Now you need to craft sticks from wood planks using the crafting table. Add two wooden planks in adjacent cells of any column, as shown in the image below. Two wood planks will give you four sticks. Add them in your inventory to use later.
White Banner
Now you will be able to craft a Banner as you have all the required items in your inventory. Use crafting table and add six wool and a stick into 3*3 crafting grid, where the first two rows should consist of six wools and the third row should have only one stick in the middle cell.
You will get white banner in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add this banner in your “ready to use” stock.
