Rails is used to provide a path for minecarts to travel.
To make a Rail, you will need certain things that are Wood Log, Iron Ore, Iron Ingot using Furnace, Wood Planks and Wood Sticks. Please follow the following steps to make a Rail.
Wood Log
In order to make a rail, first of all you need to find any kind of wood log. Go towards the forest and get a log of wood using your iron axe.
Iron Ore
The next required item that you need to find is iron ore. Equip your stone pickaxe and get at least six iron ore blocks. You will find some under the ground.
Iron Ingot using Furnace
Now you need to use the furnace to get iron ingots as you have iron ore blocks in stock. Go towards the furnace to add coal and iron ore blocks in it. Add six iron ore blocks in the upper box and coal in the lower box to get six iron ingots in the right-side box of the furnace. Bring these iron ingots in your “ready to use” stock.
Wood Planks
After that, make wood planks from a wood block that you have collected. One wood block will convert into 4 wood planks. Add wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. Bring these wooden planks into inventory.
Wood Sticks
Now you need to craft sticks from the wood planks. Add 2 wood planks on 3*3 crafting grid as shown in the following image. Two wood planks will give you four sticks. Add them in your inventory to use later.
Rail
Now we can craft rail using the crafting table. Open up 3*3 crafting grid to add six iron ingots and a wood stick in the same way as shown in the following image. You will get sixteen rails in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these rails in your “ready to use” stock.
