When powered with Redstone, the Activator Rail will trigger specific effects on minecarts with TNT or a hopper that passes over it. When turned off it acts as normal rail.
To make an Activator Rail, you’ll need Wood Log, Iron Ore, Red Stone, Iron ingot using furnace, Wood Planks, Wood Sticks and Red Stone Torch. Please follow the following steps to make an Activator Rail.
Wood Log
In order to make an Activator Rail, the basic item you need is a log of wood. You can use any kind of wood in the making of this rail. So chop down any of the trees using your iron axe to obtain wood logs..
Iron Ore
After that the next item you need to find and get is iron ore. You need to get at least six iron ores. Equip your stone pickaxe and find some iron ore blocks. You will find some under the ground.
Red Stone
Now you will have to find and get red stone. Use your pickaxe to gather at least one red stone.
Iron Ingot using furnace
Now you need to use the furnace to get iron ingot as you have required materials in your stock. Go towards the furnace to add iron ore blocks in the upper box and coal in the lower box. Add six iron ores to get six iron ingots. Add these iron ingots in your “ready to use” stock.
Wood Planks
After that you need to make wooden planks from oak wood blocks that you have collected. Move to the crafting table just next to the furnace and add wood block in any cell of 3*3 crafting grid. You will get wood planks in the right-side box of the crafting table. One wood block will convert into 4 wood planks. Bring these planks into the inventory.
Wood Sticks
Now you have to craft sticks from wood planks using the crafting table. Add 2 wood planks in adjacent cells of any column, as shown in the image below. Two wood planks will give you 4 sticks. Add them in your inventory to use later.
Red Stone Torch
The next thing you will have to craft is a red stone torch. Add red stone and a stick in adjacent cells of any column, red stone in the upper cell and wooden stick in the lower cell as shown in the image below. You will get Red Stone Torch in the right-side box of the crafting table. Bring this torch into the inventory.
Activator Rail
Now finally you will be able to craft activator rail using the crafting table as you have all required items in your stock. Add six iron ingots, two wood sticks and one red stone torch in the same way as shown in the following image. You will get activator rail in the right side box of the crafting table. Add these rails in your “ready to use” stock.
