Armor stands are entities which can hold and display armor, mob heads and pumpkins. You can place your armor on the armor stand when not in use.
To make an Armor Stand, you will need Wood Block, Cobblestones, Stone using furnace, Wood Planks, Wooden Sticks and Stone slabs. Please follow the following steps to make an Armor Stand.
Wood
In order to make armor stand you will need a block of any type of wood, because wood is the basic item to make armor stand. So chop down any tree using your iron axe in order to get wood logs.
Cobblestones
The next required item will be cobblestone. You have to find and get at least three cobble stones.
Stone using furnace
Now we need to make stones from cobblestone using the furnace. Go towards the furnace and add cobblestones at top box and coal at the lower box to get stone blocks in the right-side box to the furnace. And then add these stones into your inventory.
Wood Planks
Move to the crafting table just next to the furnace and open up 3*3 crafting grid. Add wooden blocks on the crafting grid to craft wooden planks. One wood block will convert into 4 wooden planks.
Wooden Sticks
Now you will need to craft sticks from wooden planks. Add 4 wooden planks on 3*3 crafting grid as pattern shown in following image. 4 wooden planks can give you 8 sticks. Add them into your inventory to use later.
Stone slabs
The next thing you need to make is stone slabs. Add three stone blocks in the second row of the 3*3 crafting grid as shown in the following picture. You will get stone slabs in the right-side box to the crafting table. Add these slabs into inventory to use them later.
Craft Armor Stand
Now finally we can craft an armor stand. Use the sticks and stone slab on the crafting grid by following the exact pattern shown in image below. You will add three sticks in the first row, one stick at the middle cell of the second row, and one slab at the middle cell of the third row with sticks on both sides of this row. This will craft an Armor stand. Bring this stand into your “ready to use” stock.
